Privacy policy

Introduction

yogi.compute ("we", "us", "the service") is a token-gated inference gateway: wallets that hold a sufficient balance of $YOGI gain unmetered access to a catalogue of large language and video models. Because access is verified on-chain rather than through accounts, the service is designed from the ground up to require very little personal data.

This policy explains what data we process, why we process it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It is written to be read: if anything is unclear, contact us and we will explain it in plain language.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers the website, the hosted chat interface, the inference API, and any related endpoints operated under the yogi.compute brand. It does not cover third-party services you may reach through links on our pages — including wallet providers, exchanges, launchpads, block explorers, or social platforms — each of which has its own privacy practices that we do not control.

If you interact with the $YOGI token contract directly on Robinhood Chain, that activity is governed by the properties of a public blockchain, not by this policy. Public ledgers are immutable and outside our operational control.

Data minimization

Our default is to not collect data unless it is technically required to operate the service. Concretely, this means:

  • No account registration. There is no email-and-password sign-up flow on our side; authentication is delegated to your wallet.
  • No identity verification. We do not ask for names, government IDs, phone numbers, or proof of address.
  • No advertising trackers. We do not run ad networks, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics that profile you across the web.
  • No sale of data. We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data, in any form, to anyone.

Wallet & on-chain data

When you connect a wallet, we receive your public address. We use it for exactly one purpose: reading your $YOGI balance from the token contract to determine whether you meet the holding threshold for inference access.

What we see

  • Your public wallet address (e.g. 0x…).
  • Your token balance as reported by the contract, queried at regular intervals while your session is active.
  • The chain you are connected to, used to enforce that you are on Robinhood Chain.

What we never see

We never receive your private keys, seed phrases, or transaction signatures. Signing happens entirely inside your wallet software. We cannot move your tokens, and connecting a wallet to this site grants us no spending permissions.

Note that your address and token balance are already public on-chain. Our balance checks read public state; they do not create new records about you on the blockchain.

Usage & technical data

Like any web service, our infrastructure processes technical data needed to deliver pages and API responses:

  • IP address and user agent, processed transiently by our hosting and CDN providers to route traffic and mitigate abuse.
  • Request metadata such as timestamps, endpoints called, response codes, and latency, used for capacity planning and reliability monitoring.
  • Aggregate counters of inference usage per model, used to understand which models the treasury should keep funding.

We do not build per-user behavioral profiles from this data, and we do not correlate request logs with wallet addresses beyond what is needed to enforce fair-use rate limits.

Prompts & inference

When you send a prompt — through the chat interface or the API — the text is forwarded to the upstream model provider that serves the selected model. Prompts are processed in memory to generate a response.

  • We do not attach your wallet address to prompts sent to upstream providers.
  • We do not use your prompts to train or fine-tune models.
  • We do not maintain a browsable history of your conversations on our servers; chat history in the interface lives in your browser session.
  • Upstream providers may apply their own retention and safety policies to the traffic they serve; model listings link to the relevant provider where applicable.

Do not submit secrets, private keys, personal data of third parties, or anything you would not want processed by an external model provider. The chat is a compute gateway, not a vault.

Cookies & storage

The site uses a minimal set of browser storage mechanisms:

  • Session storage used by the wallet connector to keep you logged in between page loads.
  • Local preferences such as interface state; these never leave your browser.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage simply logs you out and resets local preferences.

Purposes

We process the limited data described above only for the following purposes:

  • Verifying eligibility — confirming that a connected wallet meets the holding threshold.
  • Operating the service — routing requests to models, returning responses, keeping the site available.
  • Abuse prevention — rate limiting, mitigating denial-of-service attempts, and enforcing the acceptable use rules in our Terms.
  • Improving reliability — aggregate, non-identifying statistics about latency, errors, and model usage.
  • Legal compliance — responding to valid legal process where we are compelled to do so.

Third-party processors

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to operate the service:

  • Wallet authentication provider (Privy) — handles the wallet connection flow and session management.
  • Hosting and CDN providers — deliver the site and terminate TLS.
  • Upstream model providers — receive prompt content solely to generate responses.
  • RPC infrastructure providers — relay read-only blockchain queries such as balance checks.

Each processor receives only the data required for its function. We do not permit processors to use your data for their own purposes.

Retention

We keep data only as long as it serves the purposes above:

  • Wallet sessions expire when you disconnect or clear browser storage.
  • Operational logs are rotated on a short cycle and aggregated into non-identifying metrics.
  • Prompts are not persisted beyond what is technically necessary to stream a response.

Because we do not operate accounts, there is no account archive to delete — disconnecting your wallet removes your link to the service.

Security

We apply industry-standard measures: TLS everywhere, least-privilege infrastructure access, and no storage of wallet credentials. The most sensitive material — your keys — never touches our systems by design. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but the architecture ensures that a breach of our systems cannot expose funds or signing capability.

Access & deletion

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Because we hold so little data tied to any individual, most requests can be satisfied by simply disconnecting your wallet and clearing browser storage. For anything beyond that, contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Note that data recorded on a public blockchain cannot be altered or deleted by us or by anyone else.

International transfers

Our infrastructure and processors may be located in jurisdictions other than yours. By using the service you understand that data may be processed where those providers operate. We rely on the contractual and technical safeguards of our processors for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced through our public channels before they take effect. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
